Cinderella! A Traditional British Pantomime.
Metro Theatre’s beloved holiday tradition returns for a 39th year of magic with Cinderella! A Traditional British Pantomime from December 13 to January 5.
Co-written by Shel Piercy and Jo Sears with direction by Piercy, choreography by Shelley Stewart Hunt (who recently choreographed Die Fledermaus at Vancouver Opera), and music direction by Arielle Ballance, Cinderella! promises thrilling musical numbers and dance routines, plus laugh-out-loud moments and audience engagement. Expect wild chases, wonderful costumes, toe-tapping tunes, and maybe even a chance to boo a villain while cheering on the Good Fairy as the story unfolds. This year, the magic is in the shoes—and don’t forget Metro Theatre’s iconic take on the “12 Days of Christmas”.
First introduced to the Metro Theatre in 1985 with Babes in the Magic Wood, the holiday pantomime is an uproarious journey that mixes festive fun with whimsical storytelling for a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly Christmas event.
Tickets to Cinderella! and more details are at Metro Theatre.
