As part of the ÉCHO(S): staged readings series, Théâtre la Seizième presents the only staged reading of Lentement la beauté at Alliance Française Vancouver on March 21 at 7:30 pm, in French with English surtitles.

Comfortably settled in his career, his relationship, and his family, an ordinary man accidentally attends his first theatrical performance. The experience leads to a profound and intimate upheaval within him. Awestruck, he gradually transforms his perception of the world and those around him, questioning whether it is beauty that makes life worth living.

Lentement la beauté is a powerfully evocative dramedy that offers reflections on the meaning of daily life and artistic awakenings.

The staged reading will feature Joey Lespérance and France Perras—who were cast members in the original production—alongside Stefano Giulianetti, Cory Haas, Mireille Moquin, and Marie Villeneuve. Former Théâtre la Seizième artistic and managing director Craig Holzschuh will return as director.

Tickets and more details are at Théâtre la Seizième.
