Lamondance presents Things That Dreams Are Made Of at the Blueshore Financial Centre for the Performing Arts on June 2 and 3
LAMONDANCE’S SEASON-CLOSING production features a lineup of choreographers that lives up to the promise of the show’s title, Things That Dreams Are Made Of.
Among the artists creating work for the company is Anya Saugstad, who recently won The Dance Centre’s Iris Garland Emerging Choreographer Award.
Elsewhere on the program by the North Shore troupe are pieces by freelance dance artist and Gaga teacher Margarida Macieria; Vancouver’s CAMP Collective, whose members include Ted Littlemore, Sarah Formosa, Eowynn Enquist, Brenna Metzmeier, and Isak Enquist; Toronto-born Métis choreographer Jera Wolfe; and Brazilian-born and -trained Lamondance artistic director Davi Rodrigues.
The Lamondance Company is a 12-member troupe that supports the further development of artists who working toward professional careers.
