Just For Laughs VANCOUVER reschedules comedy festival to May 25 to 29
Tickets on sale now for standup acts including Nicole Byer, Marc Maron, Ron Wood Jr., and Andrew Santino
JUST FOR LAUGHS VANCOUVER has moved its festival from February to May 25 to 29, due to pandemic audience restrictions.
The programming team has worked as much as possible to keep the lineup intact, although a few acts have fallen off the roster due to scheduling conflicts. Several other big shows, including Ronny Chieng’s The Hope You Get Rich Tour, have been booked for dates outside the May festival days. The only show to stay in its original February timeslot is Trevor Noah: Back To Abnormal World Tour, at the Rogers Arena on February 26.
The May festival lineup has been spread through the Vogue Theatre, the Rio Theatre, and the Biltmore Cabaret, with headliners including Nicole Byer, Marc Maron, Roy Wood Jr., Andrew Santino, and Maria Bamford.
This is the sixth edition of the festival, formerly called JFL NorthWest; its live in-person event was cancelled altogether in 2021 due to COVID shutdowns.
Here’s the rest of the rescheduled lineup for 2022, with the hope theatres will be back open to full capacity. Tickets are on sale via jflvancouver.com as of today.
