Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada – West gets cooking, June 3
Vancouver’s Dirty Apron Cooking School helps set the 2021 Authentic Italian Table
A Tavola! Authentic Italian Table 2021 takes place June 3 from 6 to 8 pm PDT online.
THE ITALIAN CHAMBER of Commerce in Canada – West is teaming up with Vancouver’s Dirty Apron Cooking School for a virtual cooking class featuring the food of the Bel Paese.
A Tavola! Authentic Italian Table 2021 features a three-course meal. On the menu is crispy-seared branzino with saba-and-orange caramelized fennel and confit tomatoes followed by pan-roasted milk-fed veal chop with white truffle pappardelle, fresh morels, and Barolo reduction. For dessert, participants will get to fill their own cannoli.
Chef David Robertson, who co-founded the Dirty Apron, will be leading the virtual class.
Tickets, $150 per person, include a gift bag filled with premium Italian wine and authentic foods valued at approximately $100 along with their meal kits.
The Authentic Italian Table is part of the Extraordinary Italian Taste Initiative’s True Italian Taste project. Funded by the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and executed by Assocamerestero in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada – West, the project raises awareness of and safeguards authentic Italian food products.
