ParkerArtSalon takes place at Pendulum Gallery to June 16
THE 7TH ANNUAL ParkerArtSalon is now on at Pendulum Gallery, with more than 50 emerging and established artists exploring the theme of “What Moves You”. The exhibition invites viewers to ponder what provokes, stimulates, inspires, and moves the heart and mind. The participating artists have responded to the question through a range of disciplines.
ParkerArtSalon is a non-profit society that aims to promote artists, encourage interaction between fellow artists and the public, and strengthen the cultural community at Parker Street Studios (1000 Parker Street).
A nationwide online auction by Waddington’s Auctions runs from June 8 to 17. Fifty percent of the auction proceeds will go to the Beedie Luminaries Foundation’s scholarship program for students with potential who are facing financial adversity.
A reception happens on June 8 from 6 to 8 pm at the gallery.
To accompany the exhibition, Parker studio tours and a hall exhibition at 1000 Parker Street will take place June 10 from 12 to 5 pm hosted by Curated Tastes.
